Thirsty Project

Why Water - Water is the essential part human survival.  An average person needs to take 2.2 liters of water daily to live healthy.

Unclean Water - Waterborne diseases are caused by pathogenic microorganisms that most commonly are transmitted in contaminated fresh water. Infection commonly results during bathing, washing, drinking, in the preparation of food, or the consumption of food thus infected. Various forms of waterborne diarrheal disease probably are the most prominent examples, and affect mainly children in developing countries; according to the World Health Organization, such diseases account for an estimated 4.1% of the total DALY global burden of disease, and cause about 1.8 million human deaths annually. The World Health Organization estimates that 88% of that burden is attributable to unsafe water supply, sanitation and hygiene.

Lack of Water - More than 2.4 billion people still lack access to improved sanitation and access to clean water.

Finding Water - On average, globally, women and children spend 200 million hours every day collecting water often from water that's already contaminated.  Too often the journey is not safe.

Why we care - Because God cares.  As a believers of Christ we show the love of God through practical ways that transfoms the daily practical and spiritual needs.  Churches have access to local knowledge, resources, relationships to influence the community with living hope.

What can I do - You can transform the entire community by sponsoring a water well.

How much does it cost - The water wells complete project starts from $2000 to $5000, depends on the natural condition of the area.

Why Transformation Today - Transformation Today mission is to empower and transfom the daily living through education, preventive care and spiritual guidance.   We have been successfully working in the third world countries for the past 13 years.  Our partners and people we serve has the long standing relationship and over all partnership of healthy living.
